This 16 x 14 inch rectangular pizza stone is made from porous cordierite, engineered to distribute heat evenly across the baking surface. The porous structure absorbs excess steam from the dough base, preventing sogginess and uneven browning for consistently crispy-bottomed pizza.
Heat-resistant up to 1450°F, the stone retains heat longer and reduces preheating time. It produces no unpleasant odors during use and improves in performance with age as food flavors build into the surface.
Made from cordierite ceramic. Before first use, clean and dry the stone, then heat gradually for optimal longevity. After use, allow to cool completely, then wash with warm water and wipe with a damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
